#8. Fees, Subscriptions, Cancellations and Refunds
#8.1 Fees and Payment Terms
Certain services offered by Syncra Talent Solutions ("Syncra," "we," "us," or "our") may require payment. Fees may include one-time service fees, onboarding fees, subscription fees, recurring membership fees, or other charges associated with services offered by Syncra.
The applicable fees, payment schedule, billing frequency, service scope, and material payment conditions will be disclosed before you complete a purchase or authorize payment. You agree to pay all fees applicable to the services you select.
#8.2 Subscription Plans and Automatic Renewals
Syncra may offer subscription-based services, memberships, or recurring service plans. The applicable subscription price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any trial or promotional conditions will be disclosed before enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated at enrollment, subscriptions automatically renew for successive billing periods of the same duration as the initial subscription period until cancelled.
By affirmatively enrolling in a subscription and authorizing payment, you authorize Syncra or its designated payment processor to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation.
Any free trial, introductory offer, promotional price, or discounted subscription will be subject to the terms disclosed at enrollment. If a trial or promotional offer converts into a paid subscription, the applicable price and billing start date will be disclosed before you authorize enrollment.
Syncra will provide subscription acknowledgments, renewal notices, price-change notices, and other disclosures as required by applicable law.
#8.3 When Services Are Considered to Have Started
For purposes of this Agreement, a service is considered to have started when Syncra begins performing, preparing, or making available any material part of the purchased service.
Depending on the service purchased, commencement may include:
- Initial onboarding, account setup, or service activation.
- Reviewing, evaluating, or processing information provided by the customer.
- Beginning research, sourcing, recruiting, screening, or candidate-related work.
- Allocating personnel or resources to the customer's engagement.
- Providing access to a paid platform, service, membership, or subscription feature.
- Activating, issuing, or making available prepaid credits or service entitlements.
- Beginning any other work or activity included in the purchased service.
A service does not need to be fully completed, or a final deliverable provided, to be considered started.
#8.4 Strict Refund Policy After Service Commencement
ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE THE APPLICABLE SERVICE HAS STARTED, except where a refund is expressly required by applicable law or otherwise agreed to in writing by Syncra.
Once service commencement occurs, you are not entitled to a full or partial refund, prorated refund, reimbursement, or payment reversal merely because:
- You change your mind or no longer wish to use the service.
- You stop participating, discontinue communication, or fail to respond.
- You are dissatisfied with the service or your perceived results.
- You do not receive an interview, job offer, employment opportunity, or placement.
- You independently secure employment or receive an offer from another source.
- You do not use all available services, credits, features, or subscription benefits.
- You decide that the service is no longer necessary or beneficial.
- You experience a change in personal, professional, financial, or business circumstances.
Syncra does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, placements, hiring decisions, or any particular outcome.
The non-refundable policy applies regardless of whether you have used every component of the purchased service, provided that the service has started.
#8.5 Subscription Payments and Renewal Charges
Subscription payments are non-refundable once the applicable subscription billing period has started, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing by Syncra.
Cancelling a subscription will stop future automatic renewals in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund of a payment already processed for the current billing period.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable subscription terms or required by law, access to the subscription may continue until the end of the paid billing period.
You are responsible for cancelling before the next scheduled renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing period.
A renewal charge will not be refundable solely because you forgot to cancel, did not use the subscription, or no longer wanted the service, subject to applicable law and any rights arising from an invalid or unauthorized charge.
#8.6 Onboarding Fees, Administrative Fees and Prepaid Credits
Onboarding fees, setup fees, administrative fees, and other charges for work or resources committed by Syncra are non-refundable once the associated service or activity has started, except where required by law or expressly agreed to in writing.
Application credits, service credits, prepaid balances, or other purchased entitlements are non-refundable once activated, issued, made available, or used, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing.
Any expiration, usage, or redemption restrictions applicable to prepaid credits will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
#8.7 Limited Exceptions and Billing Errors
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
Syncra may review requests involving duplicate payments, verified unauthorized transactions, material billing errors, or circumstances in which Syncra is legally required to provide a refund.
If Syncra is unable to provide a purchased service at all, the parties will address the issue in accordance with the applicable service agreement and applicable law.
Any exception to this Refund Policy granted by Syncra in one instance does not create an obligation to grant the same exception in another instance.
#8.8 Refund Request Procedure
All refund or billing inquiries must be submitted to:
Email: hello@syncratalentsolutions.com
Please include your name, purchase email address, transaction date, amount charged, and a description of the issue. Do not include full payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial credentials.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Syncra will review the request and communicate its decision within a reasonable period.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed upon or required by law. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
#8.9 Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, unauthorized, or duplicated, we encourage you to contact Syncra so that we can investigate the issue.
Nothing in this Agreement restricts your legal rights to contact your financial institution, dispute an unauthorized transaction, or exercise any payment-related rights available under applicable law.
Filing a chargeback does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund. Syncra may provide relevant transaction records, service commencement records, enrollment confirmations, communications, and other documentation to the payment processor or financial institution when responding to a payment dispute.
#8.10 Changes to This Policy
Syncra may update its pricing, subscription offerings, billing arrangements, and refund terms from time to time.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights or commitments applicable to a completed purchase. Material changes affecting existing subscriptions will be communicated in advance when required by applicable law.
The terms disclosed and accepted at the time of purchase will govern that transaction, subject to applicable law.
